Mission

The College Events Board is a student-led co-curricular programming board that enhances the holistic development of the student population by planning, promoting, and presenting a variety of events designed to serve the multicultural, educational, recreational and social interests of the students of Harvard College. By hosting these events the College Events Board strives to bring diverse groups of students together to enhance the student involvement experience and create a campus atmosphere that addresses student needs outside of the classroom.

  • The College Events Board shall strive to create a network of members. This network is tied together by communication, friendship, and cooperation that works towards building lasting ties with the Harvard community.

  • The College Events Board shall provide the same opportunities and privileges to the students it serves without discrimination or prejudice based on a student's race, creed, color, sex, gender, class, national origin, sexual orientation, religious views or affiliation, political views or affiliation, marital status, or condition of disability.

  • The College Events Board shall conduct business in accordance with the highest standards of professional behavior and ethics.

  • The College Events Board shall provide opportunities for students to learn, grow, and develop into quality leaders.

  • The College Events Board shall promote a culture of excellence throughout the organization through consistent and effective training, a commitment to inclusion, implementing transformative and impactful personal development strategies, providing quality programs, and an unwavering commitment to serve and unify the interest of the students of the Harvard College community.

  • The College Events Board shall create new, improve existing, and enhance the quality and quantity of student engagement opportunities.
